Timothy Phillips was born in 1830 in Castellan, Pembrokeshire. He was the oldest of three children born to John Phillips (1811) and Anne Lewis.

Timothy Phillips was born in 1830 in Castellan, Pembrokeshire. He was the oldest of three children born to John Phillips (1811) and Anne Lewis.
Timothy married Martha Williams in July 1854 in Cardigan, Cardiganshire.
Timothy was listed as a Mason in the Census. Included below are the census for 1861. You can see in the 1861 census that Martha’s mother Elizabeth Williams was living with them and they had their first three children, William, Sarah & John.
The 1871 census is included below and there are now 8 children (Elizabeth, David, Thomas, Benjamin & Dan added). You will also note that Elizabeth Williams is no longer there.
In the 1881 census, there are now 7 children at home. Their sons William and David have moved away on their own. John Morgan was living with them as he was working as a Mason with Timothy.
Timothy passed away on May 30, 1886 in Newcastle in Emlyn, Cardiganshire at the age of 56. Martha passed away on Oct 21, 1905 at the age of 74.
G7: William Phillips 1855-1924 & Esther Phillips
William Phillips was born on June 15, 1855, in Blaenffos, Pembrokeshire, Wales. He was the first child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
He married Esther Phillips in 1880. They had ten children in 16 years.
William died on January 6, 1924, in Glamorgan, Wales, at the age of 68.

Sarah Phillips was born in 1858 in Pembrokeshire, Wales. She was the second child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
G7: John Phillips 1860-1926 & Sarah Williams
John Phillips was born in 1860 in Blaenffos, Pembrokeshire, Wales. He was the third child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
He married Sarah Williams in 1889. They had twin girls, Anne & Martha, born in 1890.
John died on March 4, 1926, in Pembrokeshire, Wales, at the age of 66.

Elizabeth Phillips was born in 1862 in Pembrokeshire, Wales. She was the forth child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
She married David Elias in June 1898 in Cardigan, Cardiganshire, Wales. They had one child, Henry John Elias Phillips, during their marriage.
Elizabeth died on May 25, 1940, in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, Wales, at the age of 78.

David Phillips was born in 1864 in Pembrokeshire, Wales. He was the fifth child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
He married Elizabeth Ann Evans in July 1895 in Mountain Ash, Glamorgan, Wales. They had one children, Martha Elizabeth Gwladys Phillips, during their marriage.

G7: Thomas Phillips 1867-1906 & Margaret Ann Narbeth
Thomas Phillips was born on May 7, 1867, in Pembrokeshire, Wales. He was the sixth child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
He married Margaret Ann Narbeth on June 6, 1892, in Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales. They had five children in 13 years, Gertrude 1893-1972; Melville 1899-1966; Mary Jane 1900-1989; William John 1904 and Bronwyn 1906-1985.
Thomas died on October 1, 1906, in Rhymney, Monmouthshire, Wales, at the age of 39.
G7: Benjamin Phillips 1870-1928 & Elizabeth Jenkins
Benjamin Phillips and his twin brother Dan were born in 1870 in Blaenffos, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Benjamin was the seventh child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
He married Elizabeth Jenkins in July 1897 in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. The census listed his occupation as Coal Miner Hewer.
Benjamin died on January 4, 1928, in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales, at the age of 58.

Dan Phillips and his twin brother Benjamin were born in 1870 in Pembrokeshire, Wales. He was the eighth child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
He married Martha Richards in April 1897 in Glamorgan, Wales. They had one child, Daniel John Phillips, during their marriage.
Dan died as a young father in April 1903 in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales, at the age of 33.

Annie Phillips was born on September 29, 1873, in Pembrokeshire, Wales. She He was the ninth & youngest child of Timothy Phillips and Martha Williams.
She married William Morris in 1899. They had eight children in 11 years.
Annie died in July 1962 in Glamorgan, Wales, at the age of 88.
