David Phillips was born in 1775 in Carew, Pembrokeshire, Wales. He was the first child of David Phillips and Martha Thomas.

David Phillips was born in early 1775 and was baptised on May 19, 1775 in Wiston, Pembrokeshire. He was the oldest of eight children to David Phillips (1753) and Martha Thomas.
David married Anne Lewelyn on Jul 9, 1799 in Ambleston, and they had two children, John Phillips 1811 & Eleanor 1819.
In the 1851 census, David was 75 years old and was listed as a farmer of 50 acres. His daughter Eleanor and her husband David Morgan, along with their children, lived with him and worked the farm.
Although we do not have a date for David’s death, we know it was sometime after Mar 1851.
G5: John Phillips 1811-1852 & Anne Lewis
John Phillips was born in 1811 in Jeffreston, Pembrokeshire, Wales. He was the first child of David Phillips and Anne Lewelyn.
He married Anne Lewis on June 4, 1827, in Bridell, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
They had three children in 10 years, Timothy 1830, David 1838 and Margaret 1840.
John died in 1852 at the age of 41.

Eleanor Phillips was born in 1819 in Narberth, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
She married David Morgan and they had four sons and three daughters.
