Technology Helps Historical Views

With the help of ChatGPT, we have been able to create photos of our ancestors that we never had before. We had actual photos of four Shiels brothers, John, George, Thomas & William, from the 1800’s. We uploaded those photos and asked ChatGPT to create a photo of their father based on the period and family resemblances. We were amazed at the similarities. We repeated this process all the way back to Micheal from the early 1700’s.

There were no actual photos back in this period, only hand drawn paintings, so having something that looks like their descendants. We realize these are not meant to be their actual photos, but they do provide a resemblance of what may have been.
